Lamination stack repair on a 4,000 kW motor rotor

We received a 4,000 kW motor presenting abnormal vibration and unusual operational noise.

During detailed inspection, we identified a progressive separation within the rotor lamination stack. This condition was compromising the mechanical integrity of the rotor core and generating instability under operation.
